They ordered nutritional counseling because of my IBS.

My IBS was out of control, and the doctor was not happy.

Apparently, my diet was not working well with the IBS.

I tried to explain to the doctor that I was following a diet I’d found online, but he wasn’t happy. He told me he was going to send me to a nutritional counselor where I could discuss my IBS. At one point, I was asked to join a nutritional counseling session with several other people who were having the same problem I was having. I went to nutritional counseling several times in the past. At one point my weight had gotten up so high that the doctor feared I would end up with heart problems. When my IBS showed up, I was losing weight. The doctors’ worry had gone from my being overweight, to being underweight. Neither time did the nutritional counseling do me any good. The first thing the nutritional counselor said to me when I was overweight, was that she was going to get me in a program so I could have weight loss surgery. At no time during the second time when I was under way, did she even think to address the problem of IBS. Now the doctor was sending me to a nutritional counselor for the IBS itself. I’m not sure if this is going to work this time, but I’m truly going to give it a chance. It would be so nice to be able to get my IBS under control without needing to take a lot of different medicines. I guess this time however, whether I succeed or not, is up to me.
