It’s always disappointing when you have an air conditioner that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to – to cool your home! However, this is the exact problem I was having, when I came home from work one day, and walked into the house, truly wanting to sit down and relax.
I wanted to enjoy the rest of the day, but I noticed that the house felt unusually hot.
So, I instinctively went over and checked the temperature control. I noticed that the air conditioner was on. This confused me, so I then went to the nearest air vent and ran my hand in front of it! Unfortunately, it was blowing warm air. Suddenly, I realized that I would need to contact a heating and cooling systems technician and see what they thought on how to fix it. What do I know about heating and cooling systems? Nothing, so I was hoping it wasn’t anything that serious. Greatly relieved, I was, when the HVAC specialist checked everything out and told me that I did not have anything to worry about – it was just that the air conditioner had run out of freon. Once the new freon was successfully installed, it was good as new. So, once again I could appreciate the cool, refreshing feel of air conditioning. You can say I was a little disappointed that it took some extra time out of my day to have it repaired, but at least now it was fixed, so I will not have to worry about another issue like this for a long time!
