Window film due to TV glare

I have a gorgeous winding staircase with windows that surround it. I paid extra to have windows that go all the way up to the hour story ceiling. The windows supply quite a bit of natural light and make the beach house think bigger. It is truly our number 1 feature in the house. The snag is that during the summertime the windows let in quite a bit of light. I don’t worry about high biweekly bills or fabric wearing out since I have brick floors and I live in the north. The concern with the sunshine is glare, and my kids care about to watch TV right when the sunshine is across it. It creates quite an weird picture. My kids have found a solution. They take old couch cushions and block the sunshine in the windows. The concern is that then they leave the ugly cushions for myself and others to put away. My fiance has now caught on and started doing it. I don’t want ugly cushions blocking our pretty windows. I can’t seem to get them to watch TV at a odd time either. I have started looking into decorative window films that fight against glare in the house. I don’t want a window tint that affects the look from the outside. I don’t want frosted glass, rainwater or fogged glass appearance either. I just want a film that is barely noticeable to the trained eye however stops glare in the house. I suppose I found a window film repair and tinting company that has such a product. I am frustrated that I need to buy it in the first place.
