This is something else I had noticed too, even when I had the heater all the way up on the thermostat it’s like my house will still be cold.
I’m not entirely sure what is going on with my duct work but I know that something is off. I have noticed that all the sudden I have had a big spike in my heating and cooling bills and I cannot help but to suspect it is my ductwork that is the culprit. The reason for this is because my ductwork was determined to be weak heating and air conditioning guy out, he said there were certain sections of it that really should be replaced because it wouldn’t be long before it started leaking and he warned that if it started leaking that I could have hot or cold air escaping from my home and that was cost me more on my energy bills because my heating and air conditioning system would have to work much harder too he can cool my home. It’s like the heater wasn’t working at all and at first I thought it was a problem with my oil furnace but I’m now starting to think the issue is actually with my ductwork. One way or the other, not tomorrow for sure because I have an appointment with the heating and AC business and they can tell me for sure. If it is my duct work that is causing the problem, I’m going to have it reseal and replaced right away. I’m already ready to schedule a ductwork sealing
