I remember the first party I threw at my new house didn’t go so well.
I had a lot of friends come over, but most of the people left.
I thought maybe they didn’t like the music or the temperature control settings were off. Some of my friends told me it was my air quality that was terrible. They said they could see dust floating in the air and it was stuffy and hard to breathe. That’s why they kept going outside where the air quality was so much better. A lot of people were hanging out outside and I didn’t really think anything of it until my friends clued me in. I told everybody that I would make sure to improve the air quality in my house. I wanted them to give me a break because I just moved into the place. It was soon after when I called the local HVAC professionals to come check out my setback with the air quality. The HVAC professionals discovered that the ductwork system was clogged up and it had to be cleaned. They also said I should think about using better air filters. I was using those fiberglass filters which apparently are not very good. The HVAC experts said they don’t improve the air quality and they definitely don’t protect the HVAC equipment very well. I had to wonder why they sold them in stores if they weren’t any good, but I was reminded that you get what you pay for. Well, the next party I had, the air quality was way better and most people stuck around and enjoyed themselves!
