I know that there are a lot of people that do not think fans are very good at calling them down in comparison to air conditioning system but I am here to tell you that I think a fan can be just as good if I’m better than your conditioning system and I will explain why.
For starters, I think that it is all about what kind of fan you get. Like for instance, if you get the kind of fan that is small and rotates it isn’t going to do much for you. But when you get one of those big box fans, then you shouldn’t have any problem with cooling. With one of those big box fans you can quite literally lay right in front of it and have all the cool air you need. And in my opinion these fans because of their size and the amount of air they put out are much better than your average air conditioning system. Your average air conditioning system even if you get really close to it will not be able to blow directly on you. This is why for me in the summer months when I am looking to save money I will use a large box fan that I have place in my window instead of running my air conditioning system. This way I do not have to constantly run my AC and I can save money on my energy bills while at the same time line in front of the fan that is in the window will bring in all the cool air and quickly cool you down on a hot Summer’s day.
