Believe it or not, I know that I know a few different people that choose to live without any kind of heat and cooling.
- While this might seem really weird to the rest of us I suppose there is a method to their madness.
These people are minimalist, and they are trying to cut out every unnecessary expense from their lives. I don’t have a problem with it, and I don’t think there is anything wrong with what they’re doing, but as someone who doesn’t live that kind of lifestyle I do find a really interesting. I have a couple of friends that I didn’t even cut out their Heating and cooling system, and to me this is just baffling because I cannot imagine going without any kind of heating during the winter or cooling during the summer and so I asked him how they made it. Maybe they use a space heater or a ductless mini split AC to keep some cells cool but they didn’t even use those! Instead, I had one friend who used a fireplace for his home during the winter and another who used a window air conditioner before their home during the summer. Both of these friends have long ago given up the traditional heating and cooling system they figured it was unnecessary and costly to keep one and so they chose to go without while it may seem strange to me, if it’s working for them that is most important thing.
