Everything has changed with the thermostat

I have a newborn baby, and I will admit that I am having a difficult time setting the thermostat.

When it was just my husband and me, the thermostat was unquestionably easy to set, I never genuinely thought about the thermostat much in my house! My husband and I had the same temperature preferences, so the two of us simply needed to schedule the thermostat and let it run.

We liked the temperatures to be warmer during the day and cooler during the night. After setting the schedule, the only thing that we had to do with the thermostat was ensure that it was either on heat or cool depending on which season we were in. Now that the two of us have a newborn, everything has changed, and I don’t feel how I feel about it. When I talked to the doctor about the newborn, he said that I should always set the temperature to whatever temperature we normally liked. She said that it is natural for parents to want to set the temperature too high in fear that the baby is going to be cold, and that this makes it difficult for babies to sleep. Even though I heard this, I still am afraid that my baby is too cold. We didn’t adjust the thermostat much, but we did set it to a higher temperature just in case, and I think that the baby likes the warmer temperature. Now, the only complication with my thermostat setting is that I am uncomfortable. Now, the temperatures at night are much warmer, and it makes it difficult to sleep.
