Removing the wood stove was awful

I unaffixd a wood stove when I moved into my house.

  • It was the first thing I demanded be changed.

The previous homeowner was entirely a history buff in addition to liked the outdated timey vibe of a wood stove. He had it resting on a tile pad centrally located in the dining room. The oil furnace entirely vented up through the wood ceiling in addition to out of the house. There was an addition put on the roof to make it more functional. How deranged is that? I found out later the wood stove was entirely too small for the size of the home. It was entirely more of a decorative piece. I wasn’t going to split wood to have heating that didn’t entirely work. I hated that I couldn’t put a TV someplace. I also didn’t like the giant tile pad that stuck out. It was so much work removing the heater, however I am blissful I did it. I had to enlist help on moving the cast iron stove in addition to I sold the oil furnace for a guy’s hunting shack. I then smashed the tile pad, patched the veiling in addition to had roofers unaffix the protrusion. Lastly I had to redo all the dining room carpet since it was split around the woodstove. It was so much time, effort in addition to currency just to unaffix a oil furnace that didn’t entirely work! Now I just have a ductless heat pump for heating in addition to it works perfectly fine. It is hidden in the closet in addition to I have a sizable dining room now. It was a good method by myself and others to unaffix it.
