Annie was sure she was going to have a blast living with her sister.
She was finally free from the stranglehold that her parents had on her.
For a long time she’d been looking forward to the day she leaves her parents house to start life as an adult. Her sister had managed to secure a position in her company. Annie would start from the bottom and planned to work so hard to make it in life. She looked up to her sister who had come from so far and managed to be one of the top executives. Apart from work, Annie helped her sister with the house. She barely had time to take care of the house. One evening Annie was busy working on dinner when she noticed the kitchen felt a bit warm. This wasn’t the first time she’d noticed a warm spot in the house. Annie decided to raise this issue with her sister when she got home later that night. Her sister told her it was better to contact the HVAC company in the city who’d installed the heating and cooling system in her home. Annie called and booked an appointment for 2 days later. When the HVAC worker arrived, he began to do an inspection and noticed there were leaks on the ductwork. The cool air wasn’t reaching certain parts of the house as a result of the air leaks. The best thing to do was conduct extensive duct sealing to ensure there were no more cracks or gaps. Annie’s sister okayed the work and about a week later the house felt even better now that cool air wasn’t leaking.
