Imagine planning the vacation of your dreams. You book a lovely resort in a different part of the country. It’s all about taking time out of your busy schedules to relax and be together. That was what my boyfriend and I did last year. It was the beginning of summer and we both felt it was time to get away. We flew to the state and took a car from the airport to the resort only to find out it was closed. No one had informed us and there was no way of getting a refund. Since we wanted to still have a lovely week, we went online and found another place near the resort that had some rooms available. We got there, made payments and were taken to the room. However, we were less than impressed when we entered and the space had such a bad smell. It seems there was an issue with the air conditioning system in this room that produced such a foul smell. Each room had a ductless AC system according to the information we got from our porter. He left us sitting on the patio and went to explain to the management there was an issue with the air conditioning in the room. She assigned us a new room and brought in a HVAC expert to check the state of the ductless AC system. It seemed we were not the only ones who had been cheated by the previous resort and now they had more guests coming in who wanted rooms.
