Henry and his wife were driving back home from dinner with her parents.
It had been an interesting evening and they were so happy chatting away.
This was the first time Henry had enjoyed a dinner at the house. For one, the focus of his wife’s tough attention wasn’t on him, but rather her unruly brother. He was home after being kicked out of college and his parents were so mad. Henry told his wife this was the first time he could breathe in their house. She nodded and said she understood what he meant. She was well aware her parents weren’t the easiest people on earth to deal with. When they arrived home, Henry went to turn on the heating system. Though it was fall, that was a cold evening and they wanted the house to feel a bit warm. However, there seemed to be an issue with the thermostat since it wasn’t turning on. Henry tried again but nothing happened so instead they turned on a space heater. The next day, he sent a message to the HVAC company that did repairs and service in their home. Since they were top customers with an excellent service agreement, they managed to get a HVAC professional to come to their home that same day. He took a look at the thermostat and determined that it only needed a battery change. Henry laughed because if he knew that, he would have never bothered to contact the HVAC company. Now he was going to be charged a HVAC repair fee for only putting new batteries in the thermostat.
