The heat wave we experienced recently has caused the temperatures to be over 100 degrees for a whole week.
The heat wave caused serious problems in the house.
I thought that our cooling device was working truly well until it had to work strenuously to get rid of all that heat plus humidity. On many separate afternoons, the cooling device easily stopped working in the afternoon. The coils were frozen plus the people I was with and I had to wait for them to defrost before the people I was with and I could use the device again. We’ve never had this problem happen in the past, but we’ve never had more than a day or 2 of triple-digit temperatures. The first day that the people I was with and I had high temps, it was honestly 107 degrees. The next 6 afternoons, the people I was with and I had temperatures between 100 plus 105 degrees, but now that the heatwave is over, I have made the choice to contact a local cooling system repair corporation to see if they can service that machine. The service tune up includes all of the electrical plus mechanical parts of the system. They clean all of the drain line, evaporator coils, plus the air vents plus they replace the air filter. They also check the refrigerant levels plus all of the hoses also. I had to make sure that the cooling system works better if the people I was with and I have another heatwave this warm season. It’s only May, plus the people I was with and I still have to worry about June plus July, but even in July, the temperatures are usually in the 90s. It makes sense to have the work done now, so the people I was with and I can be perfectly stress-free with truly little anxiety throughout the rest of the summer.
