I don’t really enjoy the cheap furniture at the chain stores

I have actually begun the hunt for brand new furniture! The leather chairs I had in the living room reached a brutal end when the swivel mechanism went haywire & I ended up with my butt on the floor.

Now, all I have in the living room are my leather couch & 3 wood chairs that were taken from around our wood table in the dining room, but it looks completely ridiculous.

To tell you the truth, I have been to every single furniture store in our small city, & I haven’t managed to locate anything I honestly like yet. All the furniture seems to be look-alike furniture in the various chain stores, & I am truly sick of looking at the same thing every place I go. The concern is that I have no interior design ideas. I can’t tell tuscan beauty from the southwest type & don’t even get me started on transitional sophistication or European furniture. I am not sure what all that means! I have thought about hiring a designer to get some interior design help, however when I easily think of breaking the bank with that kind of expense, I get anxious about whether it is truly worth it. My former husband used to appreciate wood furniture, so both of us had a good amount of oak furniture, although I don’t guess that look seems easily feminine. Since I live entirely on my own, I would like my place to reflect me. Since I’m a woman, I don’t want masculine wood chairs & oak furniture in my property. My friend has suggested that I look through Pinterest, look at things I like, & get custom built furniture that is entirely mine. I truly appreciate that idea, & I am now saving up.
